Finished Stage 1 (mate in 1 problems) pretty quickly. I sorely need the practice though: in my last game I missed a mate in one!

eric, 96% is still darn good. "build it and they [it will... =integrated chess knowledge of position, pawn structure, tactics, endings, planning or strategy] come".
inevitably this results in the satisfaction of eventually sitting at the starting blocks of a formidably outranking opponent in elo, skill, and experience but beating them good, in a way not foreseable. an everyday event? no, but when it does, so sweet!
how is everything else? i cannot imagine nCarolina as anything but boiling. i chatted with my dearest friend on earth tonight in wiston-salem, yadkin, but didnt get to discuss heat. plenty of heat in tactics?
