It seems the carnivals are going strong, with contributions mounting. Thanks for your constant support for them this past year, not to mention coming up with the idea in the first place for their use in the chess improvement revival.
Some of my first real exposure to the chess blogosphere came as the result of the carnival hosted by Robert Pearson (aka Wahrheit). I'm still making my way through the landscape, getting some depth now as well as breadth of exposure.
I just finished going through your blog (not quite word for word, but close) and over the past few weeks have learned a great deal about chess and the chess scene. I tip my virtual hat to you, sir.
