September Carnival Hosting
Hebden Bridge Chess Club will host the September Chess Improvement Carnival! Submit your posts here by September 1, and the Carnival should go up sometime on the fourth. Thanks, Hebden Bridge Chess for keeping this going!
That leaves two more spaces for hosting this year, before I close up shop and pass on the baton, or just close up this experiment. If you want to host in October or November, let me know. Remember, it is easy, you don't have to do much work at all, and I'll help in any way possible if you get stuck.
I have learned a lot from the people posting this year. Keep it coming!

Hi there BDK,
I'll be glad to host another at Hebden Bridge if you get no other volunteers. It would be good to see out the year with one per month. It's been a real success in my view. Thanks for your efforts and let me know if you'd like us to host another UK version.
All the best,
'mezzo
Thanks Inter. Let's do it!
Hey BDK!
IF no one else volunteers and you need a fall back guy, I could do November. (I might not be watching too much college football anyway!)
But only if no one else volunteers. I would want others who haven't yet had the opportunity to obviously have first shot.
Oh and by the way have you noticed the International Chess School stuff helping your calculation and consequently your thought process?
I am a calculating and thought process mess during a game.
Thanks!
Tommyg thanks for the offer I'll pencil you in for November!
ICS would help you calculate more efficienty, not necessarily more deeply. There is a "tactics" module to the course which I didn't do, and that is geared toward visualization/calculation training. I haven't done that module (it comes free with the coruse), but it looks good.
If there are no other candidates, I'll take October. That ensures you'll have a complete year. - Mark
Fantastic Mark you one of the chess blogging greats, it will be great to have you host one of them!
Sounds like we're good up to December. And if no one else wants to have the honor, I will be happy to do it a second time. I don't know if I can come up with a theme to top the last one, though... :)
