J'adoube's blog hibernating
In another major shift in the landscape of the Knights Errant, J'adoube is taking a break from blogging and has (temporarily?) taken down his blog. I confirmed this via email: his blog was not hijacked, it's in hibernation.
Update: Intrepid Knights reporter DG notes in the comments that he has found J'adoube's new blog here. Update your sidebars, the url has changed (when he temporarily shut down his blog, a spam bot stole it!).

Actually a version w/o comments can be found here.
Well, so much for hiding out for awhile. . .[grin]
Wow, DG is the man!
eyHey, I couldn't figure out the little comment bubble on his side bar.
BTW... There are other knights who continue to blog too... just not as much traffic as controversies may stur but I can change that.
I think the Knights has been a good thing. It provided me an incentive to track my progress and guage how others do it.
I continue to track even after I completed the circles. I may not have 100K problems under my belt by I do have well over 10K and I saw my rating peak 1703 USCF last summer because of it. Currently it dropped to 1600 and climbing back up. The drop was due to two things 1) I had stopped tactical training after the circles and 2) I changed opening systems. Now that my opening has leveled off and I am back to doign more tactical problems regularly... my rating is ont he mend.
The "program" works... thanks Knights.

hey man, really enjoy your blog. lots of good content. i checked out the PCT you refered to...i love it! really good reps on solid "foundation" stuff. I intend to look into chesslecture.com also, it look very informative. do you ever play on FICS? i prefer it over ICC (way to commercial/annoying). do you intend on ever useing CTS again? i think its an awesome resource for chess training. anyway, great blog! i'll be checking in often.
Bluderprone: Yes, the knights are alive and well. Hopefully for a while to come!
Chessdog: thanks for the kind words. I don't really like CTS. I prefer to not need an internet connection, and to be able to do the same large problem set multiple times. But it is very popular! I had a post a while back analyzing data from CTS here.
