New team web site
Thanks to my wife, who has just started working in web design, The King Assassins, my team in the 45/45 league, has a sweet new web site at http://kingassassins.com.
Your wife did a good job. I like the colors, layout, and rollovers. She also used DIVs rather than TABLEs--a sophisticated touch. :)
I noticed one bug: main.css sets a fixed font size for the "body" text and "h2" titles but not for the "h3" titles. As a result for some people the "h3" titles will be bigger than the "h2" titles, and for other people they'll be smaller than the "body" text. Text sizing on the web can be tricky!
likeforests: thanks for the helpful css feedback! I have no idea how to use CSS: I end up using tables and other ugly things which are simply easy (html is the wysiwyg of web programming nowadays: considered below the sensibilities of the true programmers, but just so damned easy). I guess I should learn CSS. They say once you do you appreciate why it is better.
Hey BDK! I just realized you're off my blogroll somehow. I'll put you back on.
By the way, those Staunton pieces are very much weighted and feel super solid, so i'm not really afraid something will happen to them. It really feels good to play with them :-)
Also , i never realized you was married. You're wife did a nice job on your team website.
